Jason Normore is considered by many in his home province to be an unconventional pastor. Even local media outlets have referred to him as “Not Your Nan’s Pastor.” He doesn’t wear suits, his church (Local Church St. John’s) doesn’t meet in a traditional worship space, and he is utterly indifferent towards religiosity. Jason cares about one thing: revealing Jesus to others by being Jesus to others. It is this mission of incarnational living that has allowed Jason to make inroads into a city and province with deep religious baggage. On this episode of the Theologist podcast, we explore Jason’s missional journey from a jaded teenager trying to break free from Pentecostal religiosity to visionary for whole new generation of incarnationally-minded Pentecostal pastors.
